We are the Music-Makers.
And we are the Dreamers of Dreams.

-Willy Wonka

My name is Noëlle.
In the Chinese Nine Star Ki astrology I am 5 earth, 1 water, 9 fire.
The utmost of Yin (1 water) and the utmost of Yang (9 Fire) united.

As my life unfolds between the two extremities of Yin and Yang,
my spirit seeks for balance and true connection, and restore this in our world.

Which elements shape your life?

About me

In creativity, in dance, in massage - I found trust and appreciation for my body
(A balancing act of sorts, loose-and-find, loose-and-find again).

Two university masters helped to focus my mind, be curious, dive deeper
(Hard still to push the thinking-break).

Berlin where I first encountered tantra, learned me to open my heart
(Like a butterfly, opening and closing, trying to fly).

To learn and teach anything, openness and connection are essential
(I’ve tried, as a teacher, sometimes succeeded, sometimes failed).

To find silence - a Vision Quest on the Veluwe - is to find satisfaction
(The hunger for knowledge and noise always returns).

Change, so it seems, seems to be the only constant.

You too are always in flux.

A reassuring thought, don't you think?

Slow Living
Simplicity
Seasonal
Quietude

Sensitive and stormy by nature, I have in the past been troubled by depression and burn-out. Now I am pursuing a life that is more simple, more slow, more in tune with the seasons. Living with clear defined values anchors me and gives direction. To stay healthy and balanced to me pockets of quiet are essential.

Kokoro
Intelligent Heart

What moves, touches, enlightens you?
I strive to live and create from my heart, my kokoro. This Japanese word is difficult to translate, but encompasses the totality of what someone thinks, feels, knows and drives. And more, of course.
It is our spirit, our intelligent heart, at play.

Wabi Sabi
わびさび

The Japanese way to appreciate the transient beauty of the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete that surrounds us. And in so doing accepting ourselves and others in the same forgiving way. There is beauty in simplicity.
