Spring is coming soon!
The setting is right for it:
a plum tree, the moon.

What to expect

The 1,5 hour ritual helps your body to relax, detox and grow vitality from within.
We focus on the energetic qualities of spring: movement, purification and flexibility.
With nature as our guide - the dynamic east wind, refreshing spring rains and alluring plum blossom - we awaken our senses.

Massage techniques

Gentle sounds, pulses and swings align your body to the rhythm of the new season. The rinsing of the meridians helps to release stagnant energy and detox. Twists and stretches are incorporated to support flexibility and create space for new opportunities and growth.

Working with:

Element: Wood

In Chinese medicine the spring is determined by the element Wood, that symbolizes creativity & development. In the shift that takes place from Yin to Yang the upward energy supports our growth and renewal. It is the perfect time for new beginnings and to bring ideas and plans to the light.

Meridians: Liver & Galbladder

The Liver & Galbladder meridian form a powerful team. Together they make sure the Qi is smoothly flowing and that our joints are flexible. It is the suppleness (buigzaamheid) of young tree branches that allow them to survive the spring-storms. The same applies to our bodies and minds - can we bend with the storms of life?

Special focus:
Feet

Now that winter is over - the period of rest and nourishment - it is time to show our heads above the ground. Sustainable growth however, is only possible when we are firmly rooted. In this ritual there is extra attention therefore for our feet, which are our roots connecting us to the earth.
